Cookie Policy

A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store on your device. Cookies let a site remember things between visits — such as whether you are signed in. Some are strictly necessary for a site to work; others are optional.

These are essential and cannot be switched off, because the service will not work without them. Under EU law they do not require your consent. These are the only cookies AirPet uses:

• AirPet sign-in (names beginning sb-): keep you signed in and protect your account. Removed when you sign out or your session ends.
• Stripe, our payments partner (such as machine_identifier, private_machine_identifier, cid, __stripe_orig_props, cookie-perms and names beginning __Secure-): set only on payment and payout pages, to prevent fraud and keep payments secure. Stripe classes these as essential; see Stripe's cookie policy.

After you sign in, your browser remembers the email address you used, so the sign-in screen can fill it in next time. It is stored only on your device (in your browser's local storage), is never sent to us or anyone else, and is not used for tracking. To remove it, choose “Not you? Use a different email” on the sign-in screen, or clear this site's data in your browser.

We do not currently use any optional cookies — no analytics, advertising or behavioural tracking. If we add any in future, they will be set only after you give permission through a cookie banner. We will not use pre-ticked boxes, and continuing to browse or scroll will not count as consent.

If we introduce optional cookies, you will be able to accept all, reject non-essential cookies, or choose individually — and change your mind at any time from the footer of any page. Withdrawing consent will be as easy as giving it.

You can also clear cookies through your browser settings. Doing so will sign you out.

Some pages load content from our service providers: maps from Google Maps on profile and booking pages, and Stripe's secure forms on payment and payout pages. The sign-in screen also runs Cloudflare Turnstile to check that you're a person, not a bot. These providers have their own privacy and cookie policies; see our Privacy Policy for how we work with them.
